Diabete-s represents a significant national and global health concern, affecting nearly 11% of the population in the United States. Despite established benefits of insulin, it continues to be underused and many patients fail to achieve glycemic goals.
Three 15-minute CME modules will review patient and clinician barriers that delay insulin initiation, communication strategies to address barriers to insulin therapy, and how to develop patient-specific plans for insulin therapy according to clinical and safety data. These educational activities will prepare clinicians to address insulin therapy with patients in their clinical practice
