Are you prepared to accurately assess the severity of atopic dermatitis (AD) across a diverse spectrum of age, comorbidities, and skin of color? Are you aware of the new and emerging targeted therapy options for mild to severe AD and the evolving physiological concepts behind their rationale? The goals of this activity are to educate pediatric and adult dermatologists, allergists, and dermatologic advanced practice providers (APPs) on the diagnosis and assessment of AD and its severity in children, adolescents, and adults; the mechanisms of action, efficacy, and safety of new and emerging targeted therapies for children, adolescents, and adults with mild to severe AD; and the clinical practice implications of emerging targeted therapies on symptoms and quality of life (QoL) in patients with mild to severe AD.
