OVERVIEW

This activity provides an overview of the use of ESAs in dialysis as it has been affected by various policies and quality measurement programs implemented since the FDA approval of epoetin in 1989, and gives readers a foundation for understanding the latest changes taking effect in the CMS ESRD PPS and the ESRD QIP.
